It's in the imagination with which you perceive this world, and the gestures with which you honor it. - Mary Oliver

About

Juleianna Schilter is an avid writer from the time she could hold a pencil as a young girl. She has written several short stories and is the author of the upcoming children's book Little Pumpkin Men. Soon to be released to bookstores and via e-books nationwide in early May 2014. With the inspiration of pacific ocean air, beautiful sharp, steep snow capped mountains, evergreens lining the sides of each long winding road overcast with the Puget Sound's rolling cloud lit sky and the soft rolling hills blanketing the open lands with fresh tilled soil and boundless green fields cascading the horizon, there she finds solace. The energy that each city visited, whether slow small town charm or abundant diversity of hustle, ignites her with stories from within. On a cool crisp autumn afternoon passing through a quaint local village she can gleam inspiration, thinking about what the owner of the rusted antique Schwinn propped up against the local gourmet cafe has planned for his day, while wondering what the purpose of the tattered basket tied to the front handle bars was.
Among writing, Juleianna enjoys spending time with her significant other and three children. She especially enjoys snow skiing, yoga, long nature walks and as a vegetarian, eating whole natural foods especially fresh vegetables from her garden and the large variety of produce among the agricultural state of Washington from where she resides.
